Craigslist sex bust Manchester

Investigators contacted suspected prostitutes advertising on craigslist. When the women showed up, they were arrested, allegedly after they offered to have sex for money with an undercover detective, according to a police report filed in Taunton District Court.
While the undercover police officer was in one room, other members of the task force were in another conducting audio and video surveillance. The sting was conducted Friday night over the course of four hours.
Some of the women have been engaging in the alleged activity for six months, while others have been performing sex for money for a year, according to the report. One woman told police she had had a gun put to her head in Natick while engaging in the activity. All posted bail and were released.
Some were arraigned on Tuesday; others had not been arraigned. Wednesday morning, there was at least one advertisement in the Rhode Island listings for craigslist from a woman who appeared to be offering sexual services for money. The ad included a photograph.
